The vessel was sailing along off the coast of Fonte da Telha beach in Portugal on Saturday when disaster struck.

Lisa Festervoll, among the crew, said the whole boat shook, 'hit hard and quickly'. Orcas rocked the helm and the rudder, and the boat began turning in circles
