LONDON: Medical teams from Jordan conducted a complex operation on a 60-year-old patient at a field hospital in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday, as part of humanitarian efforts to support Palestinians in the coastal enclave. The patient had a comminuted fracture of the humerus, along with severe tissue damage. The hospital commander said the operation involved specialized surgeons, along with operating and anesthesia technicians. The patient’s injury involved missing bone that hindered healing, he added.
