Saudi FM receives call from newly appointed UK foreign secretary

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call on Sunday from the newly appointed British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper. During the call, the two ministers discussed developments in the region and efforts made to address them, Saudi Press Agency reported. Prince Faisal congratulated Cooper on her new appointment and expressed hope that their countries would continue joint work and enhance peace efforts in the region and the world.
