LONDON: Experts in the fields of international law, medicine, history, politics and journalism have unanimously condemned UK policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict at the Gaza Tribunal, which took place in London on Sept. 4-5. The tribunal was chaired by independent MP Jeremy Corbyn, former leader of the governing Labour Party. Speakers examined allegations of genocide and war crimes against Israel, and the UK’s potential complicity in them.

The UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory is among those set to contribute to the two-day event.

Tribunal will look at Britain’s legal responsibilities and whether there is any evidence of covert support for Israel
