RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman offered condolences early Wednesday after a landslide in Sudan killed over a thousand people. Sudanese authorities, UN and aid groups rushed to the village of Tarasin in the remote Jebel Marra range, in darfur, to support aid efforts. The village was flattened on Sunday after heavy rain, the rebel group that controls the area said.
