COP30: Exorbitant housing prices in Belém threaten to derail climate summit
Many delegations and civil society representatives have been unable to secure accommodation in the Amazonian city of Belém, which is set to host the United Nations climate negotiations summit in November. Some have even asked Brazil to change the host city.
