Tropical Storm Kiko is expected to strengthen into a hurricane in the next 24 hours, forecasters said.

Tropical Storm Kiko strengthened into a hurricane on Tuesday with 100 mph winds and attained Category 2 storm status, the National Hurricane Center reported.
