A small 3.0-magnitude earthquake was felt near New York City on Saturday night but left no reports of injuries or structural damage.

A 3.0 earthquake hit New Jersey on Saturday, Aug. 2, according to the USGS. It was felt as far away as NYC and recorded about 10 miles deep.

A magnitude 2.7 earthquake was recorded in the New York City area on Tuesday, Aug. 5, according to the USGS.

A 2.7-magnitude quake rattled the Tri-State area around midday Tuesday. The epicenter was located in Hillsdale, New Jersey, about 20 miles north of Manhattan.
