Three freelance journalists working for the BBC in Gaza are facing the same dire circumstances as those they are covering.

AFP journalists in the Gaza Strip warned Tuesday that chronic food shortages are crippling their ability to report on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

“Without immediate intervention, the last reporters in Gaza will die," said journalists at the Agence France-Presse news agency.
