Tariffe del 15% e Tokyo investirà 550 mld usd negli Usa

US president says Japanese exports will be subject to a 15 percent tariff under the trade agreement.

The U.S.-Japan trade deal sparked hopes that the European Union will also be able to strike an agreement.

An agreement gives firms certainty after months of chaos from Donald Trump's tariff policy.

Japan confirmed it had reached a deal that will see tariffs on exports to the US cut from 25% to 15%.

“This is a deal that will charge lower tariffs on Japanese autos with no U.S. content,” said Matt Blunt, president of the American Automotive Policy Council.

President Trump will get to decide where to invest Japanese money and the United States will keep 90 percent of the profits, the White House said.
