A piece of the Sycamore Gap tree trunk is unveiled at its new home near Hadrian's Wall.

Sculptor Charlie Whinney has created a place for people to sit beside and touch a section of the much-loved tree, which was felled in 2023.

Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers, from Cumbria, are due to be sentenced on 15 July after being found guilty of felling the tree

The famous tree was illegally chopped down in the middle of the night in September 2023
