'Much more than ayatollahs and nukes': What you need to learn to understand Iran

"Bizarre Times Are These, Darling" is the title of an anthology of modern poetry in Iran, selected and translated from Farsi into Hebrew by Orly Noy, published in 2018 (Ktav Publishing House). The title sounds prophetic. There are no days more bizarre than these. The anthology contains poems by 17 Iranian poets, some of whom are living in the land of their birth, some of whom have died and others of whom are living in exile. All the poems appear in the book in both Farsi and Hebrew.
