Police arrest six men arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm near London’s Hyde Park

Metropolitan Police officers responded to reports of an altercation in Princes Gate in Knightsbridge, west London, shortly after 9.50am on Friday.

The altercation involved protesters supporting and opposing the Iranian monarchy, police believe.

Seven people are charged with grievous bodily harm following disorder outside the Iranian embassy.

Police arrested eight people after two men were set upon outside the embassy, opposite Hyde Park, just before 10am on Friday.
