What if our world were designed so that every child, including those living with disabilities, had the care, support and opportunities they needed not just to survive, but to flourish? The children of today are growing up amid many unprecedented uncertainties, including economic instability, armed conflicts, pandemics and climate change — each posing compounding threats to their well-being. According to a UNESCO report, one in every seven children in the Middle East and North Africa region is living with a disability, totaling about 21 million children.
