The UK could break its record for the warmest day of the year for the second day in a row today, with temperatures up to 33C (91F) forecast after a 2025 high of 32.2C (90.0F) in London yesterday.

Friday and Saturday nights will be uncomfortable for sleeping, with temperatures possibly staying above 20C (68F) in parts of the UK, which is known as a 'tropical night'.
