Four people have been handed suspended prison sentences for hate crimes against Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr.

Four people were convicted of hate crimes and threats against Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr., and sentenced to between 14 and 22 months in prison, Spain's La Liga announced Monday.

An effigy of the Real Madrid forward was hung from a bridge in January 2023 but as all four signed a letter of apology to the Brazilian, they will not go to prison
