Ron Ben-Yishai isn't just any old military analyst but one of the top ones, as well as one of those who has been around the longest. Nor does he write for any old newspaper; he writes for Yedioth Ahronoth and its internet site Ynet – the Israeli paper with the biggest circulation. Yet despite this, and despite his (at least ostensibly) esteemed status, what he posted on Saturday raises a lot of questions and even sparks ridicule.
