Ukraine targeted Russia with another drone strike on Sunday, causing two airports serving Moscow and a third nearby to temporarily close.

Russia air defence units destroyed nine Ukrainian drones heading towards Moscow by 0400 GMT, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on the Telegram messaging app.

Flights were halted at Moscow’s Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports amid safety concerns following the drone attacks.
