A federal judge on Wednesday ruled migrants sent to a mega-prison in El Salvador on flights in mid-March must be allowed to challenge their removal under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act.

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to find a way to allow the migrants to file those challenges.

The ruling is the latest milestone in a months-long legal saga over the fate of deportees imprisoned at El Salvador´s notorious Terrorism Confinement Center.
