A woman was killed after sustaining a 'genital rupture' when she fell off a high-speed jet ski driven by her husband, according to reports.
The power of the jet propulsion as he accelerated as she fell in the water led to horrific wounds from which she died the next day.
Russian woman Elena Spiryakova, 49, from Samara, near Russia's border with Kazakhstan, was rushed to hospital but doctors were unable to save her.
Her husband Oleg, 52, now faces a criminal case into 'causing death by negligence' causing his wife to be hit in the genitals by a 'water hammer', reported Russian news outlet Baza.
While the tragedy took place in July 2023 on the Samara River, details have only now emerged after the intervention of prosecutors.
