XL Bully owners gathered together for a joint walk to celebrate the last day their pets could walk around without a muzzle before the controversial breed is banned today.
More than 30 dogs including those of the huge breed packed the seafront in Margate, Kent, as the meet-up promenaded through the seaside town.
Under plans announced by Rishi Sunak earlier this year, the killer breed must be muzzled in public and legally registered by the end of January following a spate of fatal and serious attacks in the UK earlier this year.
It comes as a part of laws that will also make it illegal to sell, abandon, give away or breed dogs that meet the XL Bully definition from December 31.
The gathering - which was organised by social media group Paws4Play - was designed to take place before the day before the ban came into place.
