ildfires ravaging the Greek island of Rhodes have forced thousands of people to run for their lives, with about 2,000 tourists among the 19,000 people being evacuated. Some airlines continue to fly holidaymakers to the island but other firms are cancelling travel and hotel bookings.

Jet2, Britain’s biggest tour operator, said all flights to Rhodes up to and including next Sunday were cancelled. Aircrafts will still take tourists home. All passengers will be entitled to full refunds.
