Ruesha Littlejohn appears to have beef with the Australia star Caitlin Foord and by snubbing the pre-match handshake with one of the leading Matildas and then appearing to square up to her after the final whistle, it has inevitably caused quite a stir and raised a number of questions.

At least the Ireland manager, Vera Pauw, doesn’t have an issue with Littlejohn’s behaviour. When asked about it, she replied: “I am very proud of Ruesha, that is my only answer,” and she then moved away before that assertion could be tested.
