Marcus Wareing is regarded as one of the world’s best chefs, with a Michelin-starred restaurant and multiple other accolades to his name. Pizza Express is one of the biggest restaurant chains in Britain with about 350 outlets churning out 20 million pizzas a year.
It may be a surprise to hear the first singing the praises of the latter. Yet when asked by a food influencer where to find the best pizza, Wareing chose Pizza Express.
The star of Masterchef: The Professionals also revealed that his favourite item on the menu is the “American Hot”, a pepperoni and paprika creation that comes with a choice of hot green or jalapeno peppers.
