“Oh my God . . . Shark! Shark!” are not words any beachgoer wants to hear. And the footage that opened Why Sharks Attack of the 23-year-old Russian Vladimir Popov being mauled to death in the Red Sea in June might have led you to the conclusion that this film probably hadn’t been endorsed by the Worshipful Company of Sharks’ press and public relations team.
