The new king of Wimbledon’s centre court celebrated last night and prepared for a hero’s return to Spain.
Carlos Alcaraz, 20, and the ladies’ champion, Marketa Vondrousova, 24, attended the traditional championship dinner held opposite the All England Club. They were photographed at the event, where it is tradition for the two champions to have the first dance.
The Spanish player wore black tie while the Czech player wore Nike trainers with her gown. Vondrousova, who became the first-ever unseeded woman to win Wimbledon, was pictured drinking lager with friends.
