Madonna said she is on the “road to recovery” after postponing her tour following a bacterial infection that left her in an intensive care unit.
The Queen of Pop spent several days in hospital after being taken ill in New York last month, her manager said.
After the health scare Madonna, 64, postponed her Celebration tour that had been due to begin in Vancouver this Saturday. The singer has now shared her first statement since falling ill and told fans she hopes to be back on stage “as soon as I can”.
