Police are searching for the fiancé of a pregnant actress and primary school teacher after she was found murdered in their home.
The body of Marelle Sturrock, 35, was discovered at a property in southwest Glasgow at about 8.40am on Tuesday.
Detectives are trying to trace her partner, David Yates, 36, whose car was found at Mugdock country park, eight miles north of where her body was discovered.
The couple were both singers and performed together on stage in musicals at the King’s Theatre in Glasgow and other venues around Scotland. Sturrock, originally from Wick in the Highlands, also taught at the city’s Sandwood primary school.
Yates was a member of a heavy metal band called Nocturne Wulf but quit in 2020 to focus on
