Police have begun a search for a missing person after a pregnant actress and primary school teacher was found dead at her home.
The body of Marelle Sturrock, was discovered at a property in the southwest of Glasgow at 8.40am on Tuesday.
Sturrock, 35, originally from Wick in Caithness, taught at Sandwood Primary School in Glasgow. Police confirmed that her death is being treated as unexplained and is linked to a search for a missing person at Mugdock Country Park, eight miles north of where her body was found on Jura Street. Officers, dog units and a helicopter were also sent to the town of Milngavie in East Dunbartonshire.
