Just days after threatening a war with Apple, it’s all peace and love between Elon Musk and Tim Cook.
The Twitter chief thanked Cook, chief executive of Apple, for a tour around the tech giant’s “beautiful” headquarters in Cupertino, California, posting a short video of a pond at the campus.
He then tweeted: “Good conversation. Among other things, we resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from the App Store. Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing so.”
It marks a remarkable change of tone from the billionaire, who this week was threatening all-out conflict with Apple because of the app store fees it charges, an advertising pause and content moderation requests, as well as the “threat” of ejection.
