Five people were killed and 18 injured when a gunman opened fire at an LGBT nightclub late Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo., police said.

Police received a phone call about the shooting at Club Q at around 11:57 p.m. local time, Lt. Pamela Castro said in a briefing to the media early Sunday.
