WASHINGTON—Police officers arrested an armed man near Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s residence early Wednesday, the court said in a statement.

The man, who made threats against Mr. Kavanaugh, was arrested at about 1:50 a.m. and was transported to a police station in Montgomery County, Md., according to the statement.
