Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the 2026 Emmy Awards on Monday night.The singer skipped the ceremony in Los Angeles to cheer on her new husband, Travis Kelce, at Arrowhead Stadium as his Kansas City Chiefs opened the NFL season in a clash with the Denver Broncos.However, Swift appeared alongside longtime friend Mariska Hargitay, the star of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, in a pre-taped sketch played during the awards.Hargitay channeled her SVU character Olivia Benson to solve the mystery of whether Swift would attend the awards, before Swift herself made a cameo, dressed in a matching blazer and trousers.“I think what we’re going to be looking for is hiding in plain sight,” Swift told Hargitay, before rattling off what could be a series of Easter eggs for upcoming music or announcements: “Saccharide.
