The G-Men beat the visiting Cowboys last night 28-20 in a game that didn’t feel as close as the score indicates. New York was in control wire to wire, which was slightly unexpected considering the praise Dallas has received this offseason and the skepticism for what’s happening with the Giants. Both are wrong, for now. Give them the division. 2026 NFL MVP: Carson Wentz
The Vikings’ backup quarterback was legitimately great in Minnesota’s comeback 39-22 win over the Packers yesterday, which came after starter Kyler Murray went down with a concussion early in the game. The Vikes scored 22 points in just 2:42 of game time, which is absurd. Wentz threw for three touchdowns, two of them to Justin Jefferson. I’m going to start a narrative about Wentz’s lost MVP for 2017-18 finally coming home. More on the game here. Going 0-16: The Rams
