People in this potential group include: Will McLane, group head of corporate development; Faisal Yousaf, group treasurer; Aileen Taylor, chief people and governance officer; Barry O’Byrne, CEO of international wealth and premier banking; Jon Bingham, global financial controller; Claire Baird, was CFO of HSBC UK before leaving earlier this year; Jack Yang, CFO for Asia and the Middle East; William Chalmers, Lloyds Banking (LYG) Group CFO; Jim O’Neil, one of the UK’s most senior civil servants; Kavita Mahtani, CFO of Wells Fargo’s (WFC) corporate and investment unit.
