The result restored Barcelona’s three-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of the table after the defending champions beat Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
Barcelona made a flying start at the Ciutat de València, with Eric Garcia opening the scoring in the fifth minute before Yamal doubled the advantage in the 19th.
Yamal then converted a penalty early in the second half to put Barcelona firmly in control, but Levante refused to surrender as Ivan Romero and Roger Brugué scored late goals to bring the hosts back into the contest.
Substitute Karim Adeyemi finally settled Barcelona’s nerves in stoppage time with a stunning solo effort, bursting through the Levante defence at pace before beating goalkeeper Mathew Ryan.adsads
