He was standing by himself off to the side without his helmet on late in the second quarter and didn’t take part in the offensive meeting on the sideline in between possessions.Flowers grabbed the back of his left hamstring after he was tackled by Sauce Gardner following his 12-yard catch with about six minutes left in the first half.
If Flowers can’t return, it’s a significant loss for the Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson. Flowers, who signed a four-year, $140 million extension this offseason, turned in the best performance of his NFL career in less than a half of football. He torched the Colts’ defense to the tune of five receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown as the Ravens took a 31-13 lead into halftime.Flowers has been dealing with a hamstring injury since the joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings late in training camp. He missed two weeks of practice but returned as a full participant this week leading up to the game.The Ravens also ruled out wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane with a wrist injury. The Ravens are now without three of their top 4 wideouts, after Devontez Walker was inactive because of a groin injury. They are down to Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore and LaJohntay Wester.
