A Russian drone struck an ambulance in Kherson on Sunday, injuring two medical workers.

Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"An enemy drone struck an ambulance. As a result of the direct hit, the vehicle caught fire and was completely destroyed. Two medical workers were injured – a 49-year-old driver and a 44-year-old paramedic," the regional governor wrote.

He said the injured medics were taken to hospital for examination and necessary medical assistance. The female patient being transported by the crew at the time of the attack was also evacuated to a hospital.
