Poland will hold an emergency meeting on Sunday involving the minister of the interior and administration, the minister of national defense and representatives of the security services to discuss the country’s security situation following further Russian attacks in the immediate vicinity of Poland’s borders.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced this on X, according to Ukrinform.
“At 17:00 local time, a meeting will be held at the Government Security Center with the participation of the minister of the interior and administration, the minister of national defense and representatives of the intelligence services. The meeting will focus on the security situation following further Russian attacks in the immediate vicinity of Poland,” the statement said.
In a separate post, the Prime Minister’s Office said that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk would make a public statement during the meeting.
Earlier, Polish Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński, commenting on today’s Russian terrorist attacks in a post on X, first near the Dorohusk–Yahodyn border crossing and later on a passenger train near the Polish border, stressed that “Russia is an enemy of the free world.”
