Drew Lock stepped in and did enough to help lead the Seahawks to a gritty win, overcoming a 10-point deficit in the second half. On a similar note, New England lost star wideout and new acquisition A.J. Brown to a high-ankle sprain that will keep him out at least four weeks after he was placed on injured reserve. Getty ImagesThe Week 1 slate concludes with yet another divisional matchup on primetime, this time with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Denver Broncos.A successful season for the Broncos ended in utter disappointment last year as Bo Nix suffered a broken ankle in the Divisional Round against the Buffalo Bills, causing him to require season-ending surgery, which greatly hampered Denver's offense in an AFC Championship Game loss to the New England Patriots. With Nix healthy once again, Sean Payton's squad is primed for another strong season.As for Kansas City, the Chiefs' season was headlined by underperformance and, of course, the ACL injury suffered by Patrick Mahomes.
