Tonight (September 12), saw another round of hopefuls attempt to win over the judges by getting them to press their buttons and turn their chairs around.‌The fresh instalment comes after it was confirmed that one of the show's most revered judges - legendary Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones will be dropped from the show for its next series after a 13-year stint.‌ITV since announced that Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon will takeover hosting from Emma Willis. Meanwhile rapper Aitch, pop star Cheryl will be judges alongside Kelly Rowland and veteran will.i.am.Sir Tom has said that he did not want to leave the show and posted on social media: " I love the show and really appreciate the audience. ITV made this decision - obviously a while ago, and I was just told recently."‌Tonight's episode saw more hopefuls try out for the judges. Only eight people are able to be recruited by each mentor from their audition. As a result, they must make some hard choices but a new twist has been added to the format in a hope of hoping them.They can use a rewind button, which allows them to bring back one artist they regret letting go. This was used for the first time last week by McFly band members, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones.As fans tuned in to see who will impress the judges, they remained distracted by the recent news regarding Sir Tom. Some have even vowed that this will be the final series they watch as the instalments currently airing still feature the star.‌One person posted on social media: "Show will never ever be the same when Tom leaves." Another added: "ITV will regret firing Tom Jones. This is the final Voice series I’m watching if they’re bringing in cringy people into the show."Someone else said: "Ditching Tom Jones from The Voice UK is a disgrace. Watch the show tank next year." While one person declared: "Cant believe they've sacked the legend Tom Jones and replaced him.
