MPs and anti-corruption campaigners have called for a cap on political donations after two crypto billionaires gave £72m to Reform in less than 24 hours.
The House of Commons has already backed measures capping overseas donations at £100,000 – but some MPs say more stringent controls are necessary to “stop people distorting the next election”.
Reform leader Nigel Farage said he was “humbled” by the donations from Christopher Harborne and Ben Deelo. Keme Nzerem reports.
