The Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has condemned the attack on Ayilamo community in Logo Local Government Area of the state, which resulted in the killing of four police officers and other residents.

Alia, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, described the incident as a “despicable act” and a serious threat to the security of residents of the community and the state.
“This despicable act is an attack on the peace-loving people of Ayilamo and a grave threat to the security and stability of Benue State,” the governor said.
