Buenos Aires-based FilmSharks has closed deals announced at the Toronto Film Festival for Spanish romantic drama “All That We Never Were” (“Todo lo que nunca fuimos”).

Based on the best-selling novel by Alice Kellen, the film sold to Swift for France and French-speaking territories and to MVP for India and the Indian subcontinent.

A further theatrical deal for Latin America is “imminent,” as is a Pay-1 deal for the region currently in the works with a top streaming platform, said FilmSharks CEO Guido Rud.

Directed by Jorge Alonso, who co-wrote with Sara Belloso, “All That We Never Were” stars Maxi Iglesias (“Point Nemo,” “The Cook of Castamar”), Margarida Corceiro (“Point Nemo”) and Sebastián Zurita (“How to Survive Being Single”).

Shot along Spain’s scenic northern coast, across San Sebastián, Zumaia and Zarautz, as well as in Madrid, the film follows Leah (Corceiro), a young aspiring painter who is struggling to recover from the accident that claimed her parents’ lives.
