Nvidia is in talks to invest up to $10bn in Anthropic’s initial public offering, which seeks as much as $100bn at a valuation near $2trn and would be the largest listing in history. Three days earlier it returned as an investor in Mistral’s EUR 3bn round, the largest ever raised by a European technology company and worth less than the cheque Nvidia is now weighing.

Nvidia is in talks to invest as much as $10B in Anthropic‘s initial public offering as an anchor investor, Reuters reported. Anthropic is seeking to raise up to $100B at a valuation of around $2T.

That would be the largest listing in history. SpaceX raised $75B in June and listed at $1.77T.

TNW reported last month that a raise on that scale would be ten times Europe’s largest listing in decades, Porsche’s EUR 9.4B in 2022.

Nvidia is also Anthropic’s supplier, and has already committed up to $10B to the company separately. Anthropic’s quarterly revenue passed $11.5B in August, fourteen times a year earlier. Neither company has commented on the report.
