President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is ready to attend the G20 summit in Miami and meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin if the United States invites the Kremlin leader to the forum.
The Ukrainian president made these remarks in an interview with DW on Friday at the Canadian military base in North Bay, according to Ukrinform.
“Yes, of course. We have to go. We have to meet, talk, and make a decision,” Zelensky said, commenting on the possibility of such a meeting.
According to the Ukrainian leader, it doesn’t matter what exactly he says to Putin or what Putin says to him.
“Only the result will matter. That’s all,” Zelenskyyemphasized.
