Smoke was seen rising from the direction of a military airfield in the Russian city of Taganrog, Rostov region, amid warnings of a drone threat.
That is according to an OSINT analysis by Astra, Ukrinform reports.
Local channels had been warning of drones over the region since the night of September 12, and videos later emerged showing thick smoke over Taganrog, reportedly filmed by local residents.
Astra's OSINT analyst determined that the smoke was coming from the direction of Taganrog's military airfield.
Taganrog-Central is a military airfield in the Rostov region, located within the city of Taganrog. The airfield is home to the 708th Military Transport Aviation Regiment.
