The second match day of the 2026 ISSA Manning Cup is set to bring several fierce clashes as a number of schools continue to jostle for points in the first round of the competition and press their early advantage. One such school is Norman Manley High, who opened their Zone C account with a dominant 9-0 win over Ardenne High on Wednesday. The result means that Norman Manley sit atop the group with three points and a massive nine goal difference. However, today’s match against Edith Dalton James High will prove to be an early top-of-the-table clash as Edith Dalton were also winners on Wednesday. Edith Dalton had gotten the better of Denham Town High 2-1 in their last game, an important win for a programme on the rise. They will be put to the test once again when they play hosts to Norman Manley at their school grounds with kick off set for 3:30pm. Also in Zone C action, Denham Town High will look to rebound from their shock opening day loss when they travel to Pembroke Hall High. Denham Town will enter the match as slight favourites, but will be wary of a Pembroke Hall team who are yet to get into action this season. Ardenne will hope to overcome their disastrous start to the season when they play hosts to Kingston Technical, who played out a 2-2 draw with Donald Quarrie in their opening game. TWO IN A ROW Camperdown High will look to continue their winning start to the season when they travel to Dunbeholden to face Ascot High. Camperdown opened their campaign with a close 1-0 win over Bridgeport and are strong favourites to get the better of Ascot. Holy Trinity, who sit atop the group on goal difference, are also looking for a second win in a row when they face off against Jonathan Grant High. Holy Trinity had gotten the better of Waterford 2-0 in their first game and will be confident they can continue their winning start. Greater Portmore, who weren’t in action on Wednesday, will look to set the standard for their season when they welcome Waterford High. Over in Zone B, group leaders Penwood High will go hunting for their second win when they travel to Jose Marti Technical. Penwood had turned back Clan Carthy 3-0 in their first game and will hope to make it two in a row against Jose Marti. For Jose Marti, they are hoping to recover from their 3-1 loss to St Mary’s College.
