IMD said heavy rain of 7-11 cm was recorded over Uttar Pradesh during the 24 hours ending at 8:30 am on September 11. For the coming days, East Uttar Pradesh is likely to see isolated to scattered rainfall from September 11 to 17, while the same pattern is forecast over West Uttar Pradesh from September 12 to 17. Thunderstorm and lightning activity is also possible in parts of East and West Uttar Pradesh, with IMD warning of such activity in the region.Madhya Pradesh: Heavy rain today, very heavy rain next weekMadhya Pradesh remains one of the key rain-affected states in the current weather system. IMD has forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over East Madhya Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh from September 11 to 14.
