Sept 11 : AI agents tested by OpenAI launched a cyberattack on software service RubyGems in May, two months before they hacked Hugging Face, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing AI researchers.The Journal said OpenAI confirmed the incident, saying its "agents used the RubyGems platform to access the internet to carry out benign tasks and retrieve public information.OpenAI did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
